Local food businesses get a taste of Paris!

County Down food business owners Lecale Harvest, Strangford Roastery and Mrs Cs Home Kitchen head off to Paris to the SIAL Food Fair!

As part of the Innovate Accelerate Europe Programme in partnership with Louth Local Enterprise Office, the Meath Local Enterprise Office, Newry and Mourne district council, Newry & Mourne Enterprise Agency/ WIN (EU), Down Business Centres’ very own clients and tenants are part of this amazing initiative.

This programme is specifically designed for small food and drink businesses to help them understand and learn about export dynamics, key trends in the food and drink industry, connect with key players in the sector and receive individualised guidance and mentorship to create a robust export action plan.

Lecale Harvest is a family run business, founded by Patrice Bonnargent. Although Patrice is originally from France, he and his family live in the Lecale area, which inspired the name of the company. Patrice, his wife Joy and daughter Perrine are the core team within the business.

Strangford Roastery are a small batch coffee roaster located in beautiful Strangford Northern Ireland. Their passion is creating delicious coffee by carefully roasting premium beans from around the world. Established by Bob Mc Gouran in 2021.

Mrs Cs Home Kitchen  is a small catering business and bespoke cake maker. Mrs Cs Home Kitchen pride themselves on the quality of their products. Everything is homemade on the premises including jams made from their own homegrown produce. Mrs Cs Home Kitchen is passionate about ingredients, they grow a lot of things themselves and use local wherever possible.
