Peaceplus Funding Opportunities €40m
Peaceplus €40 (£35m) Change Maker Funding Programme- ‘Be ready’ Events.
€40m (£35m) of Peaceplus funds will be distributed to support local community level organisations to deliver projects which have the potential to achieve peace and reconciliation. Applications will open shortly.
Applications will be sought from eligible organisations involved in grassroots/locally based activities including:
• Non-government organisations (NGOs).
• Local community groups.
• Associations, including those focused on social inclusion opportunities, e.g. ex- offenders, sports, arts, history and cultural bodies, traveller; migrant; disability support organisations.
• Voluntary sector organisations.
• Universities, schools, colleges, higher education, research institutions.
Ahead of the schemes formally opening, a series of ‘Be Ready’ community information events are organised for organisations that may be interested in applying.
